Please read these booking conditions carefully, they form an important part of the contract for your holiday.

Besides also the Cuba Travel Information on our website are an important part of the contract for Cuba trips. 

CUBA4TRAVEL (CUBA-DIVING, DIVE-WORLD and others), is a travel brand of the international registered travel company ACTIVE TRAVEL & DIVING LTD BELIZE (for Germany ACTIVE REISEN e.K.), operating with Marketing & Booking Office in Germany. Here in after referred to as “C4T”.

1. Conclusion of the travel contract

1.1 The booking constitutes a binding offer from the Travellers to the Tour Operator to conclude a travel contract. This offer is based on the description of the information in the booking documents.
The booking has to be in writing, fax or other written methods. The person making the booking (the ‘lead name’) must be 18 years or older and possess the legal capacity and authority to make the booking and accepts these booking conditions on behalf of everyone in their party.
If we accept your booking, we will issue a Confirmation Invoice. A contract will exist between us from the date we issue the Confirmation Invoice or if you book within 7 days of departure the contract will exist when we accept your deposit payment. When you receive the Confirmation Invoice please check the details carefully and inform us immediately if anything is incorrect

1.2 The travel contract comes about with the assumption through the travel organizer.

2. Prices and Payment

2.1 The prices quoted in the last travel offer and Travel Confirmation are without additional expenses like Travel tax, tourist tax, Tourist Card, visa and other expenses. They will be shown separately on your travel invoice.

2.2 With close of escrow, a down payment has to be received in height of at least 25 percent of the total travel price, normally the payment is 25%. For groups it has to be upt to 50percent of the travel price and for Jardines de la Reina and Safari Boat bookings it has to be 50percent as a deposit, because local agencies in Cuba expect the same. We charge at least 15 Euro for the handling of travel- and diving-vouchers.

2.3 With the down payment possible prize amounts have to be paid for additionally completed resignation costs and to achieve other insurances completely.

2.4 The final payment has to be done 30 days before travel begin on the account of C4T. For Jardines de la Reina and Safari Boat bookings the final payment has to be done 6 weeks before travel begin at the latest. For trips with a least attendance, the final payment becomes due only if C4T is entitled no more the trip to cancel with.

2.5 The costumer’s payment is covered with a Sicherungsschein (risk coverage certificate) pursuant to section 651k BGB (German Civil Code).
These regulations require us to provide security for the monies that you pay for the travel holidays booked from us and for your repatriation in the event of our insolvency.

3. Services

3.1. The services are defined solely by the content of the booking confirmation in conjunction with the package offer on which this booking confirmation is based and in accordance with all notes and explanations contained in the booking materials.

3.2 The scope of the contractually to produce travel performances result from the statements against the travel confirmation on sale from C4T and from the here upon concerning-taking statements in principle. Alterations- and additional Agreements, that involve the scope of the contractual performances, need the written confirmation from C4T.

4. Accomplishment and price alterations

5. Participant changes, Travel changes, Withdrawal,

5.1 If the customer asks before travel beginning, that a third person starts the trip at his place, does a treatment payment become of 150 Euro.

5.2 For booking changes with consideration on travel date, accommodation, food, travel destination, departure airport and other until 30 days before travel commencement becomes a payment of 150 Euro. 5.4, In case the travel price is based with the accommodation (double rooms, triple rooms, cabins with more beds, apartments, bungalows, cabins) etc, and resigns one of the travel participants from the travel contract, the travel price for the remaining participants calculates again accordingly the reduced number of persons and it is at least the half complete travel price of this resigned travel participants to pay. If the accommodation booking is a closed complete offer the complete travel price is to be paid.

5.5 Travel resignation cost insurance is in the travel price not contained. C4T recommends of such insurance urgently with the conclusion of travel booking.

5.6 Withdrawals and termination through us:
We can resign from the Travel contract in following cases before commencement of the trip or can terminate the travel contract after commencement of the trip:
Without observance of a period, if the travel participants disturb the transaction of the trip despite a reclamation through C4T persistently or if the travel participant behave contract-unfavourable to such extent, that the immediate annulment of the contract is justified. If C4T gives notice, so C4T will keep the claim to the complete travel price. Possible additional costs for the return transportation carry the travel participant his selves. C4T must account additional the value of the spared expenditures as well as those advantages, also from an otherwise used application of this by don't attain in claim of taken performances, including from other reported amounts.

6. Warranty, Responsibility

6.1 Doesn't become the travel costumer services in accordance with travel contract from C4T, so the customer can ask for remedy within appropriate time. C4T can refuse the remedy if it necessitates a disproportionate expenditure.

10. Resignation

From the 29th day until 22th day a 30 percent of the travel price before departure
From the 21th day until 15th day a 40 percent of the travel price before departure
From the 14th day until 07th day a 50 percent of the travel price before departure
From the 06th day until 02th day a 75 percent of the travel price before departure
From 01st day until the departure day 100 percent of the travel price

The resignation costs run per travel participants at Cruises and diving cruises:
Until 60 days a 50 percent of the travel price before travel commencement
From the 59th day until 30th day a 60 percent of the travel price before departure
From the 29th day until 14th day a 75 percent of the travel price before departure
From the 13th day on a 95 percent of the travel price before departure. One day before departure and no show on the day of departure 95 percent of the travel price.

11. Jurisdiction
Jurisdiction for all litigations is the company location of C4T.
